Overview of job

• Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
• Generating WordPress themes and plugins.
• Building and configuring Magento 1x and 2x eCommerce websites
• Developing Magento modules in PHP using best practices
• Conducting website performance tests.
• Troubleshooting content issues.
• Monitoring the performance of the live website.
• Updating website features and security patches
• Design and develop front-end and back-end including database and server integration for a wide variety of web-based applications.
• Maintain and adjust existing application codebases include troubleshooting bugs to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Effectively use tools and ingenuity to identify and fix defects before they become a problem.
• Be responsible for assignments in the software development lifecycle, maintaining a schedule, and prioritizing project needs.

• Strong understanding of data integration: API (REST/SOAP), ETL, …
• Good experience with popular PHP frameworks as Zend (Magento), Laravel, WordPress.
• Good knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
• Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
• Experience in Search Engine Optimization and Page Speed optimization is a plus
• Experience in building e-Commerce sites using WordPress and Magento.
• Good experience with debugging scale and performance issues.
• Comfort working Linux server, deployment, and configuration (Apache, Nginx, Varnish Redis).
• Proven experience with source control management (Git, SVN…)
• Creation of plugins/widgets written to conform with WordPress coding standards.
• Creation of clean, logical, well-documented, and reusable code.
• Theme/template integration.
• Able to communicate English with Abroad teams and Clients.
