Job description

Overview of job

Key Purpose of the Job:

Reporting to the Group Head of Software & Analytics, this position is directly responsible for all core IT systems, data, networks, support, IT infrastructure, physical or virtual servers and end-user devices. Manages and coordinates all Regional IT projects to meet the business needs. Ensures that standards and procedures are followed during design and implementation of information systems.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

IT infrastructure and network design and implementation

• Support the Head of Software & Analytics in the documentation and approval of the Group system and information security policies
• Define, clarify and priority technical requirements that aligned with business requirements
• Design technical solution that meets functional & non-functional technical requirements
• Conduct the structured evaluation and recommend vendor selection for the products and services offerings needed for the infrastructure and network
• Leverage vendors and document and set-up initial configuration of the IT infrastructure and network
• Ensure that the solutions implementation is delivered within timeline and budget
• Document, update and archive architecture artifacts with high discipline
• Work in collaboration with Construction Project Manager to define and document IT requirements and details designs for implementations in new facilities

IT infrastructure and network management
• Define SLA in line with business requirements and establish an operation that can deliver these SLAs
o Recruit, train and manage a service-oriented team to service the business
o Define and manage work schedule of the team in line with business needs
o Establish a channel and procedure to address requests raised in a timely manner
• Implement a help desk ticketing system to record and manage issues
• Analyze common issues and identify solutions to drive productivity
• Design and implement self-help solutions that can accelerate resolution for users in a user-friendly manner

End-user device management
• In collaboration with HR, define role categories and standardize end-user device technical requirements across the Group
• Source end-user hardware for the Group in line with procurement best practices to drive cost efficiency
• In collaboration with Finance, manage and record the inventory of end-user hardware and devices
• Establish effective processes with HR to manage the hardware and devices allocation to employees
• Enable the end-user device management on a day to day basis

Job Requirement

What you will bring:
• 5-7 years of IT infrastructure and network administration experience
• Hands-on experience in firewalls and IT network security solutions
• Strong knowledge of broadband and wireless internet infrastructure bandwidth management and solutions such as routing, switching and VPN
• Solid knowledge of Windows / OS X / Linux operating systems is a must
• Strong customer-focus mindset is a must
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills along with good verbal and written skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Education:
• Minimum of bachelor degree in Information & Technology Engineering
• Industry standard certification such as Cisco Certified Network administration (CCNA) is a plus
