Who we’re looking for:

We are looking for a designer with a passion for designing modern and beautiful user interfaces, a designer who is up to date on the latest design trends and would love the opportunity to build their design skills and portfolio range whilst working on products catering to our global client base.

We are looking for a flexible designer with a passion for all areas of design, with the adaptability to apply their design skills to leading and overseeing UX design, UI design, and other ad-hoc design initiatives, whilst helping to guide the other members of the product design team.

How you’ll benefit:

Working with CodeLink as a Senior Designer will give you the opportunity to build on your UX and UI design skills, your soft-skills, and your general design abilities, with a range of responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for collaborating directly with clients to better understand their product requirements and help improve the user experience of their platform.
• You will have the opportunity to design for a wide range of products and clients, helping to further expand your portfolio of application design.
• We are a fully collaborative team, with all members of the design and development teams in-house, giving you the ability to oversee the implementation of your design into a fully functional product.
• As a design-focused company, we are always looking for new ways to help build our brand, giving you the opportunity to also lead other ad-hoc design initiatives, such as the company website, internal products, and company-branded swag.

CodeLink is an innovative and design-focused development agency. We focus on user-centric design and agile development to bring the product vision of our clients to life. We handle the end-to-end development of products, developing the product vision through product understanding, designing experiences through UX design, refining these flows with modern UI design, and developing products through iterative agile development.

We work with both early-stage product teams and teams with existing products from a wide range of countries and industries. We focus on modern technologies and work directly with our clients. We design using design-thinking principals on tools such as Sketch, Figma, Zeplin and more, and develop products leveraging our tech stack of React, React Native, Rails, Python, and Node.JS.

Where We Work

Experience:

• Require 2 + years of experience in the fields of UX and/or UI design for web and/or mobile products
• Require an example portfolio that clearly demonstrates your passion for design with examples of how you have applied your skills in both UX and UI design
• Require experience working with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
• Require strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment is a plus
• Experience working in the field of graphic design and/or brand development is a plus
• Experience leading a design team is a plus

Personality Traits:

• Able to understand and apply user-centered design principles and design from a position of empathy for your users
• Confident to communicate with teams and clients in English, with a passion for helping those around you improve
• Ability to help walk others through your designs so they can understand the decision making process
• The desire to build your portfolio by working on a range of industries
• Flexible in your design skills with the ability to adapt to different industries and different types of UX, UI and Graphic Design
• Strong focus on attention to detail with a focus on delivering quality results that impress
• Able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Driven to always learn, with the ability to collaborate on solutions, take and receive feedback, and help keep a positive energy when designing solutions
