Overview of job
Bumble is now seeking for an Android Firmware Engineer to join our energetic team.
At this role, you will build everything from Android Kernel parts to solutions for mobile phones and Android devices. You will collaborate with our UX/UI team and other engineers to optimize existing product offerings as well as create new cutting-edge implementations in support of manufacturer, consumer, and end-user requirements while supporting our ODM and OEM manufacturing partners.

Job Requirement
- At least 3 years' experience as an Android Embedded Developer or similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of Android's architecture.
- Working experience of problem debugging with Google Mobile Services (GMS) Test Suite and Google Compatibility Test Suite (CTS).
- Understanding in upgrading Android OS Versions.
- Ability to customize drivers in Android HAL for custom peripherals.
- Have knowledge and experience with Android Power Management, and be able to maximize power use.
- Familiar with performing optimization and tuning like Boot Up time and other key performance indicators.
- Know how to use Android debugging software and techniques.
- Experience in Android Audio Framework, Audio Manager, Audio Drivers, Audio Policy and Audio flinger.
