Overview of job

Our client is a multinational big data analytics company. They offer a Customer Data Platform (CDP) that unifies customer data from disparate sources to deliver a holistic view of the customer enabling insights and actions with the objective of optimizing personalized customer journeys. They have differentiated technologies to ingest and unify customer data, perform machine learning on customer data and syndicate with other software products for activation. They have numerous large global customers, like Subaru, Panasonic, LG and Canon who trust them to handle their complexity, scale, and security needs. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

Communicate with Client to make sure:

• The team understands the goals & objectives
• Provide the clear insight information of current team status to client

Communicate with Solution Architect to make sure:

• The team gets aligned about technical aspect of their tasks

Team management: (Key challenge here is the team is working with remote model)

• Working with software engineers and product managers to prioritize, triage, plan, track progress, and report results
• Motivate team members and set expectations
• Resolve conflicts

Other things else:

• Culture building
• Hiring support

Must be creative & adaptable to work in this position (especially, we’re doing remote working model). If you are not familiar with this or not flexible enough, it would be huge challenge.

• 2+ years of management experience working with distributed teams 
• 5+ years of experience with Java, AWS, and web services
• Proven track record of working with software engineers and product managers to prioritize, triage, plan, track progress, and report results
• Project management experience implementing enterprise software projects, SaaS implementations, or other integrations
• Excellent communication (oral/written/presentation) skills; able to communicate and set expectations
• Motivated self-starter who is hungry to win
• B.S. or B.A. in Computer Science, Math, Economics or related field

We would be thrilled if you

• Have experience building Cloud-based or SaaS products
• Have consulting experience at a large consulting firm
• Have experience working with big data technologies (such as Hadoop, MapReduce, Hive/Pig, Cassandra, MongoDB etc.)
• Have some level of understanding or experience in AI and ML concepts
