Overview of job

As our marketplace scales up, Cho Tot envisions to provide more tailored and efficient products to simplify the way professional sellers, small & medium business owners, enterprises do business. As a Business Analyst of Monetization, you will be exposed to this challenging yet exciting part of the business, to drive Revenue Growth.

Working with Revenue is definitely sensitive. Changing your price scheme may lead to customer revolt. Adjusting monetization features can impact our growth and retention as a whole. It is also difficult to experiment on monetization frequently because everyone fears to see the drop in revenue. At the end of the day, Revenue is sensitive not only for the company as a whole but also for you and your colleagues’ future meals (jk :P).

Despite all the sensitivity, Working with Revenue is exciting. The fact is that We don’t grow when things are easy, We grow when we face challenges. All the things we dealt with like our own fears, customer sensitivity, different stakeholders management, etc. to implement monetization changes actually lift us to major growth, personally and organizationally. Monetization is the opportunity for us to design our product closest to what customers value, which is the true beauty of this scope.

If you can sense the heat from the above line, you are welcome to get your hand dirty with us through
- User Empathy: conduct qualitative and quantitative surveys to understand user experiences, user problems and user demands with monetization products, then identify gaps to fill in.
- Monetization Analysis: provide grounded evidence to facilitate monetization product development through insights from analysis of monetization features or hypothesis validation from various experiment, testing analysis.
- Monetization Product Strategy: construct strategy for monetization product development, including business objective, target user groups, value propositioning, core feature and pricing, in collaboration with Product team.
- Go-to-market Deployment: manage product launching to users, including marketing, communication, sales and service support models. Facilitate the coordination with Marketing, Product, Customer Support, Sales and Vertical stakeholders.

Job Requirement

Being a passionate, creative and result-driven product design individual: “I have not failed. I just found out 10,000 ways that won’t work” – Thomas Edison.
Demonstration of strong leadership and entrepreneurship with “challenge the status quo” spirit.
Possession of strong critical thinking and desire to solve challenging user and business problems.
Strong project management skills, experienced in managing projects from planning to deployment involved interaction with customers and various stakeholders.
Good observation with a customer centric mindset and curiosity to deep dive user insights.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work independently and cooperate with others in a team.
Proficient in SQL and different data visualization tools. Experience in Python or R is a strong advantage.
