Overview of job
Bumble is seeking for a Windows Audio Engineer to to join our team and help build the next generation of mobile app solutions for our service partners and customers.
- You will build an audio virtual driver and incorporate it into apps for desktop computers and mobile phones, as well as web browser-based applications.
- You will collaborate with UX/UI and audio DSP engineers to improve existing product offerings and create new cutting-edge implementations that meet the needs of vendors, customers, and end-users.
- You will support our ODM and OEM manufacturing partners with related tasks to bring better quality.

Job Requirement
- In-depth knowledge of core Windows Kernel
- Experience in using Microsoft Windows audio subsystem as well as its evolution across multiple builds of Windows 8.1 and 10
- Development experience within low level DSP/Systems and firmware design for audio products
- Solid System level performance analysis and OS fundamentals (memory management, multithreading/synchronization, user/kernel mode interaction)
- CICD experience throughout multiple platforms, including for local testing as well as cloud-based build environments
- Familiar with test and submission requirements for Windows Update and Store, including but not limited to device driver and UWP application preparation
- Proven working experience with C/C++ development
- Excellent experience with debugging skills
Candidate will be preferred if have:
- Solid understanding in Windows / macOS audio driver development
- Good knowledge of design principles
