Overview of job

• Coach and lead the business intelligence team working with Hadoop ecosystem, PowerBI and Oracle data warehouse
• Guide a team towards self-organization
• Oversee activities ranging from business analysis and consultancy over development to production operation and incident handling
• Be accountable for a technical part of product
• Continuously move the team forward personally and technologically
• Work with local and global team and peers to fulfill the company IT strategy

• Previous experience with leading a BI, reporting or data analytics team
• Good knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem, data integration, transformation and vizualization tools (example Kafka, Spark, NiFi, Airflow, Jupyter).
• Fluent English
• Ready to put your hands on to solve the problem
• Thorough understanding and appreciation for the Agile values and principles

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field
• 5+ years in a software development environment preferably involving cross-team dependencies.

Preferable experience: 

• Direct experience working in a financial services organization
• Continuous integration and continuous delivery tools & techniques knowledge
• Microservice architecture with Docker and Kubernetes knowledge development experience (Java, .NET or similar)
