The Opportunity

Our client, a leading Australian Medical Advisory Company is currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate quality focused Automation QC Engineer to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, has a passion for technology and seeking to work in a dynamic and engaged organisation.

Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be responsible for the delivery of high quality end-to-end automation tests for our web applications. You will also be pivotal in a number of key projects and initiatives.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Designing, developing, delivering, and maintaining high quality end-to-end automation tests for our web applications.
• Follow and uphold our software development guidelines.
• Ensure automation tests correctly encapsulates business requirements by collaborating with QCs, Business Analysts, Developers, and the Team Leader on the requirements.
• Diagnose failing tests and report to the relevant parties in a timely manner with the diagnostic information.
• Work independently and efficiently and collaborate with the team when necessary.

To be successful for this role you will have:

• Between 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A passion for quality and being part of producing high quality products.
• A passion for continuous improvement.
• The ability to efficiently organise your time and work independently.
• Strong problem solving and logical thinking skills.
• Demonstrated experience with automation tools and frameworks

Technical Skills:

• Technologies and Frameworks – Selenium WebDriver, HTML 5, CSS3+, JavaScript, C#, .NET Framework, TSQL.
• Tools – Programming IDEs (e.g. Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, etc.), SQL Server Management Studio, Git.
• Experience in Continuous integration with Azure DevOps or equivalent will be favourable.
