CODING AND DELIVERY

• Identify ongoing improvements  to improve performance or address operational problems

• Active in writing code, contribute to codebase commits

• Collaborate with all functions in the business including Project Management, Implementation and  

Technical Writers

• Ensure committed work items are delivered with high quality and on time

• Assist QA Testing Team when required

MANAGING YOUR TEAM

• Guiding the team to develop a deeper knowledge as well as ownership of the code areas they are  

responsible for

• Support the team through continual improvement to meet and aspire to exceed expectations

• Encourage team members to work collaboratively with each other to contribute to achieving the  

team’s overall objectives

• Task allocation within the team and maintain a good team culture

• Work with the other Team Leads to support cooperation and good functioning across product areas.

• Be an escalation Point - Help solve technical problems of your team members  

WORKING AS PART OF HERO TEAM

• Liaise with the Head of Product to understand Product Requirements in their area and work within the

architecture and technology environment defined by the CTO and CPO

• Actively contribute to the global Development Leadership Team

• Assist in the development of performance measures across teams

• Contribute to the culture by attending events and meetings, encourage team members to  

attend and also contribute to the culture

• You have at least 8 years of experience in full-stack Ruby on Rails development experience

• Proven record of building sophisticated Rails applications that integrates with various third-party services

• Solid skills in Relational Database (ideally PostgreSQL) and SQL

• Experiences with APIs (Restful/SOAP/GraphQL) development and integration

• Deployed web applications on the cloud (ideally AWS/Heroku)

• Experience with at least one NoSQL datastore (MongoDB/DynamoDB/Redis etc)

• Experience/basic skills with Message queues/Kafka/Batch job processing

• Experience with TDD/BDD and CI/CD tools

• Comfortable and willing to work with the polyglot technical environment (Ruby / Golang)

• You have leadership experience within the development in a high growth company

• Be an advocate of driving modern software engineering principles

• Good written and verbal skills (English and Vietnamese)

• Happy to contribute and share knowledge amongst your own team and the global development team  

via knowledge-sharing meetings.
