Overview of job

• Ensure that each phase of the product lifecycle from product management, through development, QA, Staging and into Production is fully automated, as frictionless as possible utilizing CI and CD.
• Code proactive infrastructure changes utilizing Infrastructure as Code ensuring they are architected to implement 99.9% uptime and elastic scalability.
• Establish and maintain the infrastructure to support automated unit, system and load testing.
• Take an active part in a culture that is nimble, energized.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a DevOps, SysAdmin or equivalent roles.
• Experience in one or more of: Perl, Python or scripting experience in Shell.
• 2+ years of relevant experience with managing IT infrastructure with focus on the *nix platforms
Demonstrated Proficiency and knowledge of: (The more the better)
• Have experience working with large scale system, bigdata system, data platform.
• Network engineering concepts (e.g. Firewalls, VPN, Nginx, Load Balancers, Haproxy).
• Configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet.
• Container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience with virtualization: KVM, VMware,...
• Ability to quickly pick up new technology stacks.
• Application Monitoring tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Zabbix...
• Log Management and Analytic Platforms such as ELK, EFK.
• Strong understanding of command-line tools and distributed version control systems such as GIT, GitFlow.
• Knowledge of relational and nosql databases.
• A engineer who is smart, passionate, energetic and results focused.
• Big Data Concepts (e.g. Hadoop Ecosystem) a large plus.
