About Fika:
Fika is Vietnam's fastest-growing AI social & dating app with 700,000 installs since its soft launch in November 2021. Fika’s founders, Denise Sandquist (CEO) & Oscar Xing Luo (CTO) are from Sweden and the rest of the team are Vietnamese with various impressive backgrounds. The company culture is young, dynamic and ambitious, with the goal set to become Vietnam’s #1 dating app in 2021, before expanding rapidly into Southeast Asia.

The Position:
You will be a member of a high-performing team accountable for developing and maintaining Fika Mobile Application, powered by Flutter. This includes architecting and implementing functional programs and features for the Mobile Application. As a senior, it is expected that you are a strong team player with a commitment to high-quality code output.

Responsibilities:
As a senior member of the Fika Engineering Team, you will be playing a critical role in helping to bring ideas into reality. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a hyper-growth startup that is disrupting the dating market both in Southeast Asia and globally.
● Lead the support of the Application Lifecycle (Architecture, Testing, Release, and Support)
● Produce high-quality and clean code based on Flutter’s best practices.
● Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions or improvements for the team
● Troubleshoot and debug the application to optimize performance
● Collaborate with product, marketing, and designers to implement functional solutions and plan new features
● Collaborate with Backend and Full Stack engineers to architect cross-functional features and systems.
● Conduct code reviews and ensure new and existing applications meet quality standards.
● Research and suggest new technological advancements, frameworks, and improve our workflows
● Stay up to date with the newest technological trends in iOS, Android, Google, Apple, and Flutter.

● 3+ years of mobile development experience (in either iOS or Android)
● Deep knowledge of Flutter framework (Widgets), ecosystems, and popular Flutter libraries (BLoC, Provider, Firebase, etc)
● Experience developing with Dart
● Familiarity with Reactive X frameworks (RxDart, RxSwift, RxJava, etc…)
● Has built and shipped mobile applications in Android and iOS
● Understanding of Rest API and/or GraphQL
● Good communication skills in English (with a desire to improve)
● Stayed up-to-date with Flutter 2.0
● Proficient in using version control and continuous integration, with tools such as Github or Circle CI.

A plus if you have:
● 2+ years of Flutter development experience
● Shipped apps to either iOS App Store or Google Play Store
● Experience working in Sprints and with the Agile process
