What you will be responsible for:

The Quality Assurance Engineer (QA) focuses on improving software development processes and preventing defects in production. They make sure the software development teams are doing the right things the right way. The QA engineer will:

  • Work with the management team to:
    • Define the processes and procedures for our technology department following the best practices and industry standards.
    • Define, measure, and continuously improve the SLAs and metrics for our software development and project execution activities.
  • Closely monitor the implementation of these processes, procedures, SLAs, and metrics and relaying any issues back to the development team and management team.
  • Conduct quality assurance investigations of non-conforming processes, including identifying underlying causes and developing recommended corrective actions.
  • Ensure quality assurance records and information are collated and analyzed regularly and records are maintained in a quality assurance repository.
  • Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies.
  • Keeping informed of advancements in the field of software quality assurance

Job Requirement

Must have

  • 02+ years of experience in quality assurance in a technology-driven organization, or the IT/Software department of a large organization.
  • Have a proven track record of success in defining and implementing the processes and procedures for managing and operating software products following the best practices and industry standards.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Diligent and meticulous.
  • Strong sense of result-oriented, ownership, and responsibility.
  • Self-motivated and continuous improvement of your QA skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience in defining and implementing SLAs and KPIs/metrics; and supervising the implementation of these SLAs and KPIs/metrics.
  • Knowledge of CMMI, ITIL, or ISO for software engineering (9001, 90003, 20000-1,  270001…)
