• Owns the Engineering Roadmap (vision and implementation) for their discipline
• Design, implement and ensure quality of product features
• Drives continuous exchange of knowledge and learnings between teams and verticals/units
  • Act as a technical advisor to the product development teams
  • Assist with Root Cause Analysis for severe incidents
  • Supports x-vertical/unit alignment of solutions

• Strong English written and verbal skills is a MUST.
• At least 4 years experience in native Android development and a leadership role, with deep knowledge of the Android core framework and Kotlin/Java language
• Strong understanding of modern Android application architecture such as Clean architecture, MVVM, modularization
• Good knowledge and experience with SOLID principles
• Experience in using Kotlin Coroutines and 3rd party libraries like Dagger, Retrofit, RxJava, ...
• Strong development experience with all layers of an Android application: network, database, model, business logics and views
• Experience in developing high performance client-server mobile applications: fast and highly responsive
• strong understanding of Android User Interface guidelines, care for mobile usability
• Strong quality mindset and practice with unit testing
• Good knowledge in the build, deployment, and release of mobile applications and CI/CD tools (Gradle, FastLane/Jenkins/Git)
• Evaluate new mobile methodologies and technologies
• Strong hands-on experience in mentoring/coaching less senior members

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in backend technologies as well as Microservices, RESTful JSON APIs
• Have experience in memory & performance solving
