• Strong skills in English communication (both written and spoken)
• 3+ years' experience in the similar role
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture design and implementation, or cloud computing (AWS)
• Strong development background in .Net, Java (SpringBoot, Kotlin) or Golang
• Experience developing and working in a virtualized or Dockerized environment
• Strong experience using container-based APIs including Docker, Docker Swarm, or Kubernetes.
• Relational and non-relational database design and optimization (MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
• Experience with RESTful services and APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD e.g., Jenkins, Circle CI, GitHub
• Agile/Scrum development experience.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible
• Strong collaboration and communication skills within distributed project teams.
• Experience with encouraging the use of best practices and workflows throughout the organisation (TDD, BDD, Agile etc)
• Strong contributions to team discussions and stand-ups
• Strong experience with mentoring junior Developers and reviewing their code

Nice to have: 

• Experience implementing/handling authentication and authorization on the Backend (Oauth2.0, SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect)
