THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a NodeJS Engineer to become a core member of our new projects. You will handle either the entire product development process or, at the very least, a significant part of it. You will work closely with customers, determine the product functionality, define the architecture, and estimate the overall work. When you join our ranks, you will work closely with world-class technology entrepreneurs from the world’s most prominent innovation hubs. These include Silicon Valley, Scandinavia, the United Kingdom, Germany, and many other countries. Some business travel may be required.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Make it visible: work on both back-end and web interface as requested;
• Participate in requirements analysis, research implementation ways and possibilities;
• Proactively engages in researches, discussions and decisions on software architecture and internal coding style, architecture, process and another standard establishment;
• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code;
• Write unit and integration tests;
• Collaborate with the team members and customer representatives;
• Perform code-reviews and share best practices with colleagues.

• 5+ years of experience (for senior level)
• Solid working experience with Node.js and its frameworks (Express);
• Solid experience with DB (MongoDB, MySQL);
• Experience developing responsive web apps;
• Experience with web services and stateless architecture;
• Understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery;
• Upper/intermediate spoken and written English;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with customers;
• Knowledge of modern JS frameworks will be a major plus
