Job description

Overview of job

The User Researcher will be responsible for designing and conducting user research and choosing the  best research method based on the goals, objectives, and resources. This role will be in charge of all aspects of research (planning, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting) for both generative  (participatory design) and evaluative (usability testing) research.

  • You will work with both consumers and merchant squads to understand the BAEMIN  platform from the 2 sides;
  • Plan and conduct qualitative studies, including field observation and interviews, remote and in-person usability studies;
  • Plan and conduct quantitative research to identify problems;
  • Adapt and innovate research practices to meet the team’s needs under tight time frames;
  • Synthesize and research findings to ensure a holistic view of our users and collaborate  closely with stakeholders (e.g., Product, Design, Operations, Business Development) to drive improvements in customer experience;
  • Study competitor platforms, market trends, consumer behavior to identify opportunities; - Collaborate with Product Designers to build the UX foundation of BAEMIN platform; - Be a Role model in documenting your works;
  • Other tasks assigned by Line Manager.

Job Requirement

1. Education

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Statistics, Psychology, Marketing,
  • Economics, Computer Science or a related field.

2. Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience doing quantitative and/or qualitative, especially user research (e.g. interviews, usability tests, field observations, surveys).
  • At least 2 years working in UX, digital products for consumers.

3. Skill and knowledge

  • Strong communication skills in English and Vietnamese (verbal and written).
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize data from both quantitative and qualitative sources.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of curiosity.
  • Good team player with a positive attitude and a strong sense of integrity and responsibility.
