Job brief

We are looking for a Back-end Developer to build and implement functional programs. You will work with other Developers and Product Managers throughout the software development life cycle.

In this role, you should be a team player with a keen eye for detail, design and problem-solving skills. If you also have experience in Javascript and using Node.js, Express, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase or APIs, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Produce clean, efficient, scalable, and testable code based on specifications.
• Work with stakeholders to clarify requirements for your own work.
• Review / Refactor code of team members.
• Analyze complex design and implement high-quality products.
• Help technical leaders to make technical decisions and interview new candidates.
• Coach, train, and support team members.

Requirements

• +4 years of experience in software development using Node.js or related frameworks / systems.
• SOLID and ACID principles.
• Design patterns: Creational, behaviour and structural patterns.
• Very strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for code quality that follows best practices.
• Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility and a strong team spirit.
• Some experience in leading a project or team will be a plus.
