Overview of job
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coach an automated testing team
- Build testing strategy, which is a good combination of automated and manual testing strategy with at least a medium-details testing plan, that is suitable with the digital banking platform and well balance between effort and test efficiency
- Design and implement automated test frameworks and integrate with Continuous testing flow to allow repeatable testing on critical flow/functions and minimize manual testing effort
Job Requirement
Bachelor's degree of any engineering disciplines with at least 6 years of working experience as software engineer/tech lead or QA engineer
At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience as automated test engineer using modern automated testing web or mobile framework like Katalon, Selenium, or any mobile app automated testing frameworks (like Appium or Flutter Driver)
Some exposure to banking and financial industry is preferred
Experience communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, technical designs, and strategy.
Very strong written and spoken communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Thorough understanding of Agile/Scrum development, DevOps , CI/CD & shift left methodologies like BDD
Knowledge of API/Web services, component testing
Strong experience with all types of automated testing in the testing pyramid: unit testing, functional testing, mock testing, screen testing, API (contract level) testing, full regression end-to-end testing, etc…
Strong experience with Git, Maven, Gradle.
