Job brief

We are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer to support the CTO of the company on maintaining and administering the CI/CD and infrastructure. We are currently using Gitlab to manage the CI/CD and kubernetes cluster GKE on Google Cloud Platform.

Your main responsibilities will be to set up new environments as required by projects and to monitor the infrastructure to detect any potential issues.

You will also be responsible for setting up the developers' environments and providing support.

If you have experience in administering Gitlab CI/CD and Kubernetes clusters we would like to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Configure and administrate the gitlab CI/CD pipelines
• Maintain and monitor the current infrastructure GKE cluster)
• Setup new projects/environnements
• Support development team to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
• Setup a technical environment for the development team.
• Maintain and upgrade the environment version
• Add and improve monitoring with Datadog or Grafana or other tools

Requirements

• 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Understanding of GCP is a good plus.
• Container experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with serverless
• Good knowledge on Windows, Linux, Mac environments and experience in managing Linux based infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience in operating and maintaining RDBMS/NoSQL databases and search engines (e.g MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, etc.).
• Experience with GIT
• Experience with Terraform
• Extensive experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD processes using Gitlab CI/CD
• Have experience with monitor systems such as Prometheus/Grafana, AWS Cloudwatch.
• Good reading and communication skills in English (required).
