Overview of job
As a Technical Manager you will be required to:
- Set project technical standards and policies, define high-level architecture, processes and tools, and technical budgets
- Accountable for the technical design and implementation of backend system through production and support as a live service
- Ensure the quality, performance, and stability of technical deliverables meet commitments
- Improve team efficiency through identifying bottlenecks and proposing solutions
- Identify and manage technical dependencies and risks
- Collaborate and manage partnerships with internal and external technical partners
Work as part of the product leadership team:
- Understand and help define the product vision and business needs
- Represent the project and team to stakeholders
- Balance technical, product, and business requirements with successful outcomes
- Empower and manage expectations for production & design
- Partner with Product leads on development processes and project planning
- Conduct research necessary to achieve desired outcomes and evolve our technology

Job Requirement
- Experience designing and shipping backend systems to serve millions of daily users.
- In-depth knowledge of enterprise systems, networking modules, and software integration
- Strong experience in either the front-end, back-end, architecture and/or infrastructure, or web services.
- Strong people (engineering) management experience, strategic team planning, chief solution architecture, technical cost, infrastructure designs, and cost management.
- Have a track record of designing, developing, and implementing complex, low-latency, large-scale mobile applications and/or web services. ( > 1M users)
- Experience with backend technologies: Java, NodeJS, ElasticSearch, Redis, SQL & NoSQL
- Experience in Cloud Architecture: AWS, GCP
- Experience in project management and service-oriented architecture (SOA)
