Overview of job

We are having multiple SAP implementation projects in Japan. To enable project execution, we are looking for SAP consultants who can play the role of Bridge Consultant to facilitate the work and communication between Onsite team in Japan and Offshore team in Vietnam or India in SAP implementation projects for Japanese customers.

Joining the Bridge Consultant team, the candidate will be offered a good development roadmap both in SAP and Japanese skill to grow to a senior consultant with N2 (or above) level to be able to work onsite in Japan.

The candidate is expected to work as SAP Bridge Consultant and as SAP Functional Consultant.

Being SAP Bridge Consultant, the candidate will:
- Work from offshore and play the role of SAP Bridge Consultant to facilitate the work and communication between Onsite team in Japan and Offshore team in Vietnam or India in SAP implementation projects for Japanese customers
- Work directly with Front-end consultants (Japan onsite project team) to understand business requirements in Japanese and English
- Translate (when necessary and applicable) and convey the business requirements to Back-end consultants (Offshore project team)
- Facilitate further communications between Front-end and Back-end team to complete project tasks
- Participate in project workshops with Front-end team when needed
- Support Front-end team and Translator team to translate project documents when needed

Being SAP Functional Consultant in offshore project team, the candidate will:
- Analyze customer requirements, identify gaps and solutions to these gaps
- Perform system configuration, functional test, SIT, UAT support, go-live and post go-live support
- Create functional specification and work with technical team for change requests

Besides, the candidate is also expected to:
- Support presales when needed and applicable
- Support solution teams to localize SAP solutions for Japanese market when needed an applicable

- 5+ years’ experience in SAP projects in the following module: FI, CO, SD, MM, PP
- Good working knowledge in one or more related SAP modules
- Good communication - English and Japanese (Minimum N3)
- Experience in International teams (Japanese Customers /Stakeholders, Implementation team spread across Asia countries).

- Soft skills and management skills (Presentation, Task scheduling, Team working)
