Overview of job

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer/Site Reliability Engineering (Attractive salary up to $3000) responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring the infrastructure and collaborating with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes. You will become an integral part of a CloudOps team, making every problem of the platform an issue of your own, and solving them accordingly.

You will:

• Help to tune performance and to ensure high availability of infrastructure,
• Design and develop infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools,
• Develop and maintain configuration management solutions,
• Develop test automation frameworks in collaboration with the rest of the team,
• Create tools to help teams make the most out of the available infrastructure,

• Documented experience working in a Linux Systems Administration or Linux Systems Support role in a multi-application/multi-server environment, preferably with virtual or Cloud-based systems utilities or software,
• A firm grasp on configuration management tools, such as SaltStack, Ansible, and Chef,
• Ability to write reusable and maintainable scripts in Python and Bash,
• Proficient with network tools such as Iptables, Linux IPVS, HAProxy, etc.,
• Documented experience with load balancing and firewalls,
• Ability to build and monitor services on production servers in a public cloud environment,
• Experience with ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash & Kibana),
• Experience with CI/CD platforms (Azure DevOps, Octopus, Jenkins).,
• Knowledge of K8S and Docker is an advantage,
• Experience working in a technical Hybrid Technical role for a Software Company that Develops, Sells, and Supports Cloud, virtual or similar customizable software products or systems,
• Should have robust systems analysis and recommendation experience in areas related to Operating Systems, Capacity (terabytes, memory), and Hardware Sizing,
• Experience assessing technical environments and recommending/designing customized Cloud (or similar technologies) focused solutions to solve problems, streamline processes, or save time.
