Overview of job

Engineering Assistant Manager shall be a part of our professional and dynamic team at Panasonic R&D Center Vietnam, leading the key projects with global customers and engineering department with main duties and responsibilities as follows:

• Drive Technology Strategy for Group or Department 
• Support Manager in overall management for internal projects across the engineering department.
• Support for customer communication, solution decision making for projects.

Support for resource/ manpower management to ensure operation efficiency and business result achievement.

Panasonic R&D Center Vietnam was established in April 2007, is a company specializing in R&D of Panasonic Group in Vietnam with the aim of enhancing R&D activities in the field of digital home appliances, automation, mobility in Vietnam, providing R&D services for software solutions in today's hottest fields such as AI, Cloud, IoT in a chain of R&D centers of worldwide corporations

1. Must have

• University degree in Software engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics &Telecommunications or related majors.
• At least 3 -year experience in project management.
• At least 3-year experience in embedded development (RTOS, Linux, Android, Potting Technology, Optimization …)
• Experience in project planning, project tracking, requirement management, risk management, quality control and communication management.

Strong sense of quality and client orientation.

2. Nice to have

• Experience for project management at Japanese company or work directly with Japanese clients is a great advantage.
• On­site working experience in Japan is a plus.
• Able to work under tight schedule.

Have PMP certificate is a plus.
