The Role

As Senior VP of Engineering, you are responsible for development and operational support teams across the complete platform stack, from back-end data processing to front-end user experience on web, mobile and desktop applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical team of several key product lines to develop both web and mobile products and follow best coding practices.
• Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals
• In charge of the overall technical architecture from end to end to ensure company’s internal and external products are stable, less error prone, easy to expand, and easy to maintain
• Make critical decisions regarding hiring personnel, building development process and implementing solutions that yield competitive advantage
• Responsible for team competence build-up and development, and be measured by the team’s final deliverables
• Communicate with stakeholders to consult on technical matters.

Who we look for – the ideal profile

• At least 10 years of experience in an overall software company having held executive roles in recognized innovative organizations
• Proficient in English communication, both verbal and written skills work with Vietnamese and international teams/stakeholders.
• Strong experience in building data-driven, prefer Python
• Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Understanding and experience of Google Cloud Platform and CI-CD tools.
• Experience with Microservices and web Rest APIs
• Proven (multi-disciplinary) team management experience. Able to build a team, enable it to perform and foster a positive team culture
• Ability to identify technical risks before they occur and to develop mitigation and avoidance strategies.
• Preferred if the candidate has:
  • Strong E-commerce experience
  • Experience in data analytics product
