Overview of job

• Responsible for designing system architecture, data infrastructure for Data Platform, Group Data Customer platform, and other Data products of the company. Lead R&D activities to prototype and create new architecture and system blueprints. Develop security solutions and tools to identify and mitigate data security risks. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Architect DP, GCDP, and Data products and design the integration of these products to other systems in production. 
• Design and prototype DP components
• Design security solutions for the above-mentioned products, including secure access to data and system components, protocols, and cryptography solutions to protect sensitive data
• Ensure DP and GCDP are compiled with data privacy and security laws.
• Engage with Data Platform customers/partners to understand their needs and provide suggestions/guidance on what data platform techniques are appropriate to solve their problems with pros/cons articulated clearly.
• Implement prevention, identification, and recovery methods to protect the systems against security threats. 
• Lead data security assessments to ensure and validate the security of the Data platform in production.
• Act as a data security advisor and establish a strong relationship with other data functions within the organization (operation & delivery, data governance, data analytics).
• Provide mentorship and help team growth, especially on the technical side.

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent field.
• Proven managing record of 3-5 people
• 5+ years of experience with big data systems R&D
• 5+ years of data security experience
• Hands-on technical experience with designing Data security solution
• Experience in building data systems based on open-source tools.
