Overview of job

• Design, develop, customize and maintain projects in Jira SW, Jira Service.
• Management, including Insight module and integration with other tools.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement scripts (incl. scripted fields to extend Jira functionality) or Jira plug-ins as they fit into integration workflows.
• Troubleshoot and debug across Jira and integrated systems.
• Develop and maintain automated testing and application monitoring.

• An Engineering degree in Computer Science, IT, Software System or equivalent work experience in the field.
• Preferably 3 – 5 years of proven professional experience in Jira Development.
• Excellent understanding and proven hands on experience in maintaining and supporting JIRA workflows, permission schemes, notification schemes, screen schemes, etc.
• Significant programming experience in Groovy, Python and JavaScript or equivalent. 
• Good knowledge with Oracle/PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience with using Git as a source code versioning system.
• Ability to write new plug-ins for Jira is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills, able to understand abstract functionalities from specifications.
