Overview of job

Bosch Car Multimedia team is looking for full-time Java Software Engineers focusing on HMI Application working at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. 

This project is for Android HMI development for many OEM.

Our scope is at application layer. 

Your main task is to develop and maintain App for android. You will be part of a global team working on designing and developing solutions for App for Linux, QNX RTOS and Android. Your colleges locates at Germany, India, China and Vietnam.  

As a Android Developer, your typical work activities include: 

• Development and maintenance of software solutions for App in Android platform. 
• Analysis of new customer requirements, design and implementation of efficient solution 
• Defect analysis and resolution in android App pipeline. 
• Co-ordination with global team and support customer request. 
• Active participation in technical discussions with various stakeholders.

The job might be fit for you if you have: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent. 
• At least 2-years experiences in native Android development (Android Studio, Kotlin, Java, Google API…).
• Strong understanding of Object Oriented Design, broadcast receiver, activity, fragment and service lifecycle.
• Experiences in JSON, Web Services, Location Services, etc.
• Experiences in writing OOP code and apps development using MVC, MVP or MVVM.
• In-depth understanding of UI component & customization; proficient in creating flexible UI for various device screen sizes.
• Strong experiences in caching, lazy loading, background threads, networking, push notifications
• Performance analysis and tuning experience; including memory usage, CPU utilization and memory leakage.
• Different levels of experiences are welcomed (junior to senior). 
• Good English communication skills, be able to interact fluently with worldwide stakeholders. 

Nice to have 

• Working  knowledge of git, github, gerrit, make, cmake, Yocto etc 
• Knowledge of RTOS and Hypervisor technology 
• Design and modeling language (UML)  
• Cross-platform development experience (ARM, x86)  
• Basic knowledge of Agile framework, scrum, sprints. 
• Basic development experience in QNX  and Android platforms is a plus
