Job description

Overview of job

ZaloPay was launched in 2016 with the ambition to tap into the new era of mobile-based financial service. Our aim is to educate Vietnamese users to acknowledge and acquire the latest tech-based payment methods that ease up the burden of having to cash with you all the time.

This position will work at Funding Channel Department of ZaloPay. Funding Channel Department is in charge of market research, explore funding source channels, build-up, and integrating with them. The funding source channels include banks and other potential funding sources

Business/Department goal
1. Expand bank cooperation and new sources of fund
2. Improve bank linking success rates
3. Improve bank payment success rates

What will you do?
- Plan, determine survey objectives, design surveys, suggest question wording, collect information on customer satisfaction, market research, and similar topics. Analyse and interpret the meaning of survey data to insights and recommendations for actions.
- Analyze user behavior and market trends to identify and recommend new business opportunities via primary research and secondary research
- Provide market information related to products/ services of Banks, other E-wallets such as trending, strategy, target of Bank vs. E-wallet industry; how the other potential funding sources of other E-wallets organize and operate in market to strategy development.
- Understand & integrate data from multiple sources above to update and give findings of industry trend, market players’ target/ strategy/ operation and strategic partnership
- Synthesize & visualize all research and data to present the insights and recommendations for business actions
- Generate insights around market trends and dynamics
- Monitor/ anticipate competitors’ strategic moves
- Recommend new market/channel opportunities
- Orient and coordinate workload of research team
- Build and maintain appropriate market information systems

Job Requirement

- At least 6 years experiences in market research area, user research, user survey for providing solution to achieve Business/Department goals
- At least 3 years experiences in team management, can build trust and guide team members to improve their competencies
- Must have working experience and knowledge in online payment (domestic or international)
- Excellent presentation skills
- Excellent command of English. Strategic-oriented.
- Research methodologies/ Consumer insight common platforms and best practices
- Quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyst, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid working experience with reporting packages, databases.
