Overview of job
- Design and write cutting-edge backend services for our products that serve our customers;
- Conceive, analyze, design, build and maintain systems, ensuring the system is robust, highly optimized for performance, and highly available;
- Work with your team to explore and create new designs geared toward scale and performance;
- Participate in code and design reviews to maintain our high development standards;
- Work with product managers, and game designers to implement products;
- Engage in service capacity and demand planning, software performance analysis, tuning, and optimization;
- Support deploying backend services, scaling back-end services as well as performing root-cause analysis investigations;
- Debug and modify complex, production software;
Job Requirement
MUST HAVE
- 1 - 3 years of backend experience (Java or Golang);
- Strong computer science fundamentals in algorithms and data structures;
- Strong understanding of system performance and scaling;
- Excellent communication skills, sharp analytical abilities with proven design skills, and ability to think critically about system growth and stability;
- Familiarity with AWS;
- Experience in writing good unit tests;
NICE TO HAVE
- Understanding of distributed systems and network protocols;
- Familiar with Cloud service providers: AWS, Google Cloud;
- Elastic Search, MySQL, Redis, Terraform, Docker, Gitlab, Jenkins;
- Popular framework: Go-kit, grpc-gateway;
