Overview of job

• Document and monitor testing outcomes and establish steps to remedy problems
• Analyze current technologies used within the company and develop steps and processes to improve testing procedures
• Writing test plans and creating test cases for the product.
• Conducting quality assurance and designing performance tests using the new testing procedures.
• Troubleshooting any errors and streamlining the testing procedures.
• Writing up the final QA and test procedures for the quality technicians.
• Ensuring all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards.
• Preparing test reports for management.

• From 3 years of experience as Automation Tester for a data project, with detailed understanding and experience in end-to-end testing lifecycle
• Capable of writing queries/code in Python
• Ability to to write SQL queries (with 6+ months of exp)
• Ability to source your own Test Data
• Experience in Data Remediation / Data Cleansing
• Hands-on knowledge and experience with some of the tools and techniques for data testing, data analysis and manipulation (such as SQL & other scripting tools, Excel, Python, Oracle, Big Data/Hadoop, and the Atlassian suite of tools – JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket etc.)
• Desire and ability to innovate and automate/streamline ineffective processes
• Experience in Spark is a plus
