Overview of job

• Effectively understand customers strategic goals and articulate GoodData’s ability (with a focus on the technical aspects) to exceed these goals
• Deliver consulting services, lead design and implementation of BI solutions and analytic applications for accessing and analyzing data
• Collaborate with and orchestrate engagement of various technical experts from the GoodData teams (professional services, development team, product, support, etc.)
• Interface directly with prospects/customers during sales cycle or project implementations, develop a trusted advisor relationship with customers
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of the GoodData product, services, and feature offerings

• 3+ years of client-facing experience in a post/pre-sales capacity (BI Consultant, Solution Architect/Analyst) with a Data Analytics products or services vendor
• Excellent presentation and communication skills. Ability to influence both C-level executives and technical evaluators
• IT consulting skills and experience, ability to set and manage customer expectations, and to negotiate appropriate resolutions to issues
• Very good knowledge of SQL, ability to design data pipelines (ETL processes), experience with data visualizations or dashboard designs
• Demonstration of self-starter behavior and a desire to tackle technical challenges
• Fluent written and spoken English

Advantage Qualifications:

• Hands-on professional or personal experience with cloud platforms, data warehousing, ETL concepts, data modeling
• Working knowledge of Data Visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik, Spotfire, Lumira), BI tools (OBIEE, Business Objects, Microstrategy, Cognos), ETL Tools (Informatica, SnapLogic, Talend, Clover).
• Background in computer science, analytics, data science, statistics, applied maths, operations research, machine learning, or cloud computing.
• Experience with SaaS deployments, particularly embedded analytics.
