We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team in HCMC, Vietnam who will match our ambitions, and help us Better ourselves and achieve our goals. The Senior Business Analyst contributes to GeoComply’s success by doing process mapping, modeling, documentation, optimization to ensure all team processes are managed effectively. This position reports the Business Data Analyst Lead on a day-to-day basis. You are able to, and enjoy, working with multiple teams across locations, have good communication and interpersonal skills. You have experience working in short, agile, iterative development cycles and have a great passion for working in agile development process environments.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Mainly responsible for process mapping, modeling, documentation, improvement, automation, and optimization
  • Deeply understanding company structure and goals; mapping key business processes and working closely with all functions for process change initiatives
  • Improve existing business processes or designing new processes from scratch
  • Taking the Business Analyst role in a project to liaise among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems. Perform internal UAT prior to the delivery of the solution.
  • Communicating with business stakeholders to ensure that changes are implemented effectively and efficiently.
  • Supporting the Project Manager with project planning and estimating, status reporting, employee mentoring, performance management, development process and contribution to strategic direction
  • Identifying process metrics for efficacy and efficiency improvements
  • Gather, organize and synthesize large amounts of information from various sources.
  • Documenting processes, creating flowcharts and diagrams using specialized software such as Draw IO, Visio, Bizagi, etc.
  • Identifies and manages gaps, determining the effectiveness of proposed solutions and developing Business Requirements documents and models.
  • Follow the project and organization processes, policies, and regulations.

Job Requirement

Your skills & qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree of business administration, information technology, and computer science
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in as an business process analyst, business analyst, system analyst or similar role
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to understand their vision, needs, concerns, priorities and the environment in which they operate.
  • Experience in process quality metrics and/or project management is a plus
  • Experienced in writing technical documents, procedures, workflows, etc.
  • Generation of business requirements documents from high level conceptual papers through to detailed specifications including detailed use cases, workflows, user stories, test scenarios and acceptance criteria. Elicitate requirements specification into key functions.
  • Good understanding of end to end experience of the project lifecycle.
  • Strength is in communicating and bridging with the DE team and BDA team on how a product/project runs in a day-to-day scenario and long term BI process implication.
  • Being familiar with the BA toolkit i.e. Jira, Confluence, Draw IO, Visio, Bizagi, etc.
  • Understanding of BPM concept, BABOK® Knowledge Areas & operational excellence techniques (Lean, Six Sigma, Value Stream,...)
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication, both in English and Vietnamese
  • Critical thinking, logical thinking, problem solving, agile mindset
  • Open-minded, ability to learn & adapt quickly
