Why HutBot?
HutBot is a fast-growing team in Pizza Hut Digital Ventures. The team is responsible for optimizing back-of-house operations in Pizza Hut restaurants across 70+ countries in the world through super-app mobile applications. HutBot utilizes vast Operational Data to surface opportunities for our Team to focus on improving the Customer Experience, execution of standards and increases sales.
The Job
- Work with colleagues from the UK, US, India and Russia.
- Be responsible for the success of your project.
- Design, implement and test web applications.
- Collaborate on requirement analysis and specifications
- Share knowledge and experience with your colleagues
- Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
- Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
- Chance to learn new skills like Terraform, React, AWS

Job Requirement
- 2-3 years experience in Java Development.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to write well-documented, clean JavaScript code.
- Experience with Java 8+, Spring Boot.
- Experience with RDBMS like Amazon Aurora with PostgreSQL compatibility.
- Experience with Unit Tests, Integration Tests, code coverage.
- Experience with Microservices.
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS and Kubernetes.
- Firm grasp of the JavaScript and TypeScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax.
