Overview of job

The successful candidates will undertake 2-month intensive training before joining projects. 

Job Responsibilities: Conduct technical task under Supervisor:

• Actively involved in the product design and development process, from requirement & design, solution architecture, through integration, release & maintenance
• Writing Technical Design based on Feature Design (required)
• Perform Unit Test and follow team coding structure and guideline
• Perform coding review and code refactoring
• Fixing issues / bugs reported
• Develop & deliver “eCAT version 2” product features.

Education:

• University/College degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences, Management Information System, Industrial Management or equivalent.

Experience:

• Senior: Have 1-2 years of experience in software development (JAVA)

Soft skills:

• Able to obtain deep knowledge of the project’s technologies
• Able to work independently with minimal guidance
• Able to self-learn and quickly adapt to new technologies
• Familiar with the Agile development methodologies.

Hard skills:

• Experience with web-based technologies: Spring (Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data, Spring Boot) and ORM (JPA, Hibernate)
• Experience with O-O designs and design patterns
• Experience with Tomcat, and RESTful based web services
• Experience with Typescript/ReactJS
• Experienced working on WebSphere, OS, RestApi, OSLC and WebServices
• IBM Maximo Java Dev, Oracle DB, SQL DB, DB2 are plus
• Expertise to handle HTML/ CSS/ SCSS/ JavaScript/ Bootstrap
• Experience with Gradle Project
• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills.
• Good experience with unit testing (JUnit, mock) is a plus.
• Cloud-deployment & multi-tenant cloud design experience is a plus.

Tools & Report:

• Develop Tool & Database: IntelliJ, Postgres SQL (latest version), Docker
• Jetbrains Space platform is a plus.

Language:

• English: Basic level, can read and understand material. Ability to communicate in English is a PLUS
