More than 600 employees work in the business areas of photography, media production, media IT and print services and are active at 9 different locations with our headquarter in Vreden, Germany. 

In media IT, we are specialist for automating the creation of catalogs, price lists, brochures, packaging and much more. Our product suite includes plugins for popular design applications and standalone servers that our customers use to automate their publishing needs. Our daily work relies on tools that we have come to trust through year-long experience: InDesign by Adobe and priint:suite by priint Group.

We are now looking for a C/C++ developer to work on the PDF engine that powers most of our products, to become a product engineer and to control the direction that the product will take. What you will do

• Focus on developing rendering plugins for Adobe InDesign and standalone applications which enables our customers to automate the creation of marketing materials
• Work directly with onsite QA and our German team to clarify requirements
• Develop the framework to build the bridge between data sources and a graphical environment
• Analyze requirements
• Design and implement performant solutions
• Generate innovative approaches

What we expect from you

• 3+ years of C++ Software-Development in a professional environment
• Good English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Ability to conduct research and work independently
• Good problem solving, collaboration, and communication skills
• Be active and willing to learn and adapt new technologies
• Long-term commitment for sustainable career development
• Be familiar with 
  • IDEs as Xcode or VisualStudio
  • Common database technologies like MySQL
  • REST/SOAP Web Services
  • JavaScript language
  • Version control systems like SVN and GIT
