Overview of job

• Analyze business requirements from related stakeholders and work closely with Comtor, Developer, or PM to finalize the specifications/requirements.
• Create test-case and execute testing for each function (including GUI integration with database, API) or create and execute an independent test case for each API/ Service, etc.
• Execute database testing, and verify SQL queries executed following the logical process of the project.
• Post bugs, with each bug you need to know the cause of the bug and know how to fix the bug to perform regression tests effectively.

[General skills] 

• Major in IT and have more than 3 years of experience in software testing.
• Professional knowledge of basic software testing.
• Knowledge about System design and UML.
• Basic knowledge of computer science or network technology.

[QC skills] 

• Experience in Function/GUI testing.
• Strong in designing test-case or creating test-case mind-map. 
• Strong in reporting bugs and doing test reports.
• A little experience in  API testing, and Database testing.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting.

[Preferred skills] 

• A fundamental understanding of at least one programming language (e.g Java, Python, Javascript, etc).
• Experience in Automation testing or performance testing is plus.
• A history of active participation in the software testing community or technical community.
• Experience in bug tracking tools: Redmine, JIRA.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development process.
