TimeXtender is looking for software developers to work in our beautiful office in HANOI, VIETNAM.

Your skills and experience

About the role

The TimeXtender team in Hanoi will be the first team of developers in TimeXtender that will be centered around AI and using AI as a key element in the solution, with focus on LLMs at first.

As a developer, you will play a key part in building the software that is behind the TimeXtender product that leverages artificial intelligence technologies. You will be designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered software solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams. A part of this is also to conduct research and experimentation to explore new AI technologies and stay up-to-date with industry trends.

You will work closely together with fellow Xpeople from the Engineering Circle, who work in 4 modules on the development of TimeXtender® on finding the best technical solutions to solve the business needs. This involves also being a part of making technical decisions and being a strong voice within the development circle.

Your knowledge spans beyond your specialization, and you have a deep understanding not just of technology, but the ecosystem it exists in. This knowledge enables you to see your work as part of a bigger context, and you are always updated on any changes in the industry.

The TimeXtender product consists of a Windows client application, a server component and a SaaS web portal. The software is used for managing and building data estates where the data can either be on-prem databases or cloud databases or services. The product integrates with various services through API’s and also through so-called Data source connectors that allow the user to ingest raw data into the product.

We are looking for you if you:

• Have at least 5 years of experience as a software developer
• Are experienced with building high quality client/server software components in .NET and C# that are used for various on-prem services/databases or cloud services through API’s
• Are experienced and have skills and insights into integration with databases, SQL-Server, T-SQL and working with data in general
• Have solid understanding of core API concepts
• Have knowledge and experience of working with REST API and API’s in general
• Have a strong analytical sense for applying new technologies and solution designs
• Have great communication skills and ability to pass on knowledge
• Have a growth-oriented mindset with the ability to see through solutions when identifying problems and seeing learning and improvement as key factors for success
• Are focused on getting things done with a proactive attitude
• Are curious and constantly seek out new knowledge
• Can plan and structure your own day
• Speak and write English well and have collborated successfully with English speaking remote teams on different time zones.

Will be advance if you:

• Have solid experience and insights with using AI and LLMs to build software products
• Have some years of experience working as a lead software developer
• Can provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
