Overview of job
- Design and build RESTful APIs to meet product requirements from designs and specifications.
- Implement backend services and integrations using Java and relevant frameworks/libraries.
- Follow best practices for API design, documentation, testing, security and performance.
- Collaborate closely with other teams such as product, design and front-end to ensure alignment.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and continually improve code quality.
Job Requirement
- Minimum 3 years of experience developing backend software using Java
- Proficient with Java, Spring Boot/Micronaut frameworks for RESTful API development
- Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases
- Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Familiarity with source control tools like Git and agile methodologies like Scrum.
