Overview of job

1. Implementing Database DevOps solutions on- premises and on cloud as AWS, Oracle Cloud:

• Provide database environment for Test/Dev/Production and hardening.
• Implement database change, database policy follows CR process and security policy.
• Implement and manage database platform on Cloud system.
• Consolidate database systems into Database farm. 

2. Execute DBA operation checklist and resolve database requests following database standard and bank policy:

• Resolve requests/issues within a timely manner against SLA/OLA requirements.
• Implement backup procedure. 

3. Responsible for the database performance, housekeeping tasks, integrity, and security of database. Work closely with the IT Infra System/Network/Storage and DevOps Teams, AM/PM to assist in database related duties (maintenance, upgrades, and system assessment):

• Database is stable and has good performance.
• Inform Services Owner (SO) Top Module, Poor SQL query impacted database performance. 
• Fix security vulnerabilities following security procedure.
• Provide technical advice and support to DevOps Teams and Projects.

4. Working with development, QA, and operations teams to automate the build, test, and deploy process:

• Automate CR implementation, operation task and routine. 

5. Participate in written/update database procedure documents:

• Database operation document built and up-to-date.

6. Proposing cost-effective solutions, optimization, and stability:

• Database services performance improvement
• Involved in code review and tuning, architecture, and standardization of the database side and with CRs lifecycle.
• Saving cost (storage, outsource…), review time to implement job.

7. Review database changes/ all related documents for DevOps applications in charge:

• Make sure Database align IT strategy, architecture, and security policy.
• Reduce risk, occur happen by Change request.
• Handover database system.

1. Educational Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science or related field of study: AWS And/Or Oracle cloud certificated or equivalent education, training by Oracle/ Microsoft/ AWS/ NoSQL technology.

2. Relevant Knowledge/ Expertise:

• Extensive experience in Public clouds, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with MySQL And/Or XML/Mongo/NoSQL technology (Redis, Elastisearch, MongoDB/ NoSQL system) And/Or Oracle/SQL.
• Experience with BigData, Data streaming technology as ODI, Kafka is preferred.
• Knowledge of OS as Windows Server, Linux, AIX.
• Experience with DB monitoring tool as Oracle cloud EM, Grafana.
• Experience automating routine tasks and performance and log analysis.
• Experience with migrations and upgrades.
• SQL tuning and database performance assessments.
• Source code control (Git, SVN, etc).

• 4+ years of database experience (MySQL, NoSQL Redis/MongoDB, PostgreSQL and/or Oracle/MSSQL ), in addition to educational requirements.
• 2+ years’ experience in Cloud platform, NoSQL system management (Redis, Elastisearch, MongoDB/ NoSQL system).
• Database Performance Tuning/Troubleshooting.
• Ensuring availability as HA, DC/DR (Active-Active, Active/Passive).
• Backups and Disaster Recovery.
