As a Support Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and availability of our systems. The focus of Support SREs is primarily on handling operational tasks to alleviate the burden on other SRE team members. There are SREs in several entities in Japan and Vietnam. You will build a Support SRE team from scratch and work with SREs in several locations.

Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, and improve our infrastructure, including monitoring, diagnosing, and resolving incidents promptly.
• Automate routine tasks and develop tools to streamline operational processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement.
• Participate in on-call rotations.
• Provide consultation to application developers through knowledge sharing, technical training, and enablement.

Must have:

• At least 5 years experience as a DevOps Engineer (Experience on on-premises environments being a plus)
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Proficiency with IaC (e.g., Terraform)
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and best practices.
• Deep understanding and hands-on experience with MySQL.
• Proven track record in training and educating team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
• Strong ownership and responsibility, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
• Experience in developing and operating web applications built in Go or Ruby is a plus.
• English language proficiency at a professional working level.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Jira or similar project management tools.
