About the team

The Data team within Doctor Anywhere oversees all of the company’s data-related requirements. The goal is to use the data to assist the company in making product/business decisions, and measure its effectiveness. This team works closely with our Product, Engineering, Business to develop a deep understanding of how our products are used and influence the company strategy.

This role reports directly to the Head of Data.

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Data Analyst II to manage our data, building a well structured data warehouse, developing reports, and transforming business needs into data models and data visualisations to help everyone in the organisation make decisions efficiently. You enjoy working in a cross-functional environment, collaborating with Data Engineers, Product Managers, Engineering Teams and Business Stakeholders, providing clean and well structured data to the organisation.

What you’ll do in this role:

• Collaborate with Business (Product/Marketing/Operations etc departments) and the data engineers to analyse business requirements and transform them into solutions, including data warehouse design, ETL, data visualisation, reports, and exploratory data analysis.
• Handle requests submitted to the data service desk by the stakeholders for the creation and maintenance of dashboards, ensuring the relevance and accuracy of insights provided by the BI tool.
• Proactively engage in the continuous improvement of data quality, automating where possible to maintain accurate, reliable data.
• Develop, maintain, and provide support for reports or dashboards, aiding stakeholders with their operation in order to drive better decision making and efficiency.
• Empower and train a certain group of stakeholders to independently operate and maintain the BI tool and dashboards.

• Degree in Computer Science/ Business/ Statistics/ Management/ Economics/ Mathematics with minimally 3 years of Business Intelligence/ Analytics/ Statistics and/or reporting experience.
• Strong SQL development skills desired, writing complex queries and testable.
• Analytical mind and business acumen with ability to work with large amounts of data to design data model and structure that is friendly to use for decision making.
• Working experience with data visualisations and tools, preferably Tableau.
• Quick learner and proven ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Team player with an ability to function effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
