JOB OVERVIEW

• FA.CDC is collaborating with global automotive OEM and Tier 1 on developing head units and MCU for global markets. You will be involved in various activities for Automotive market such as Researching and Developing Software Defined Vehicles with cutting-edge solutions for both Application and Framework/APIs development on a robust and reusable embedded environment. Moreover, it will be a precious chance to work with top experts of automotive industry to enhance both your technical knowledge and English.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for talent engineers joining our team in:

• Bring up device
• Flashing device
• Modify device driver
• Modify bootloader
• Measure, optimize overall performance (Boot process, CPU, RAM, Disk, …)
• Control Android build system

• Graduated from a university specialized in Electronics Engineering, Automatic Control, Automation, Computer Science, or related fields.
• At least 3-5 years of experience working with Android platform/Linux kernel
• Have participated in successful projects related to embedded software
• Demonstrated proficiency in C programming language
• Deep understanding about Android partition, Android boot process, Android Security model, Android GKI
• Deep understanding about AOSP build system
• Demonstrated proficiency in Kernel Driver development (Interrupt, Spinlock, multi-threading, …), Bootloader development, Device tree.
• Familiarity with Schematics, Datasheet
• Proficiency in using tools and software related to embedded software design
• Familiarity with using Multi Metter, Oscilloscopes, …
• Effective use of Git, Gerrit code review, CI/CD tools (Jenkin, QuickBuild, …)
• English: TOEIC 600+
• Soft skill: Strong Organizational, Analytical, Problem solving, Proactive, Teamwork, Independent work
• Have one/more of following skills/experience is an advantage:
• Holding specialized certifications, degrees, or relevant training courses.
• Experience in device bring up of In-Vehicle Information system (Audio, BT, Wifi, Camera, Sensors, …)
• Familiarity with Android boot processes (e.g. U-Boot) and bring-up experience
• Broad knowledge of Qualcomm, NXP, Renesas, …
• Experience in improvement Boot KPI, optimize resources (Disk, RAM,…)
