 **About the Role:**

As a Senior AI Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI and machine learning solutions. You will work closely with devops, software engineers, and product teams to deliver impactful AI-driven products and services. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a passion for leveraging AI to solve real-world challenges at scale.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Design, develop, and optimize AI/ML models and systems for core business applications.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver high-impact projects from concept to deployment.
* Support and share knowledge with junior engineers, contributing to a culture of technical excellence.
* Research and experiment with emerging AI/ML techniques (e.g., GenAI, multi-modal models, LLM fine-tuning, AI agents) and assess their applicability.
* Apply best practices for model versioning, explainability, fairness, reproducibility, and ethical AI deployment.
* Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve the performance of AI systems in production.
* Translate business objectives into technical solutions and clearly communicate results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and AI regulatory requirements.

 **Required Skills & Experience:**

* 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering, with a proven record of deploying models to production at scale.
* Strong proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Transformers).
* Experience with LLMs (e.g., Qwen, Llama, Gemma), model fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and vector databases (e.g., Milvus, Qdrant).
* Proven experience with model serving using vLLM, SGLang (including optimization for throughput, latency, scalability)
* Hands-on experience with training and inference of large models on multi-GPU or distributed computing environments.
* Knowledge of AI safety, responsible AI, and regulatory compliance.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Data science, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

**Nice to have:**

* Contributions to open-source AI projects or research publications.
