The Position

OPSWAT is seeking a Senior Data Analyst (Power BI-focused) to support the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team in transforming financial data into actionable insights. The role centers on developing and maintaining advanced Power BI dashboards and reports that enable strategic, data-informed decision-making.

Based in Vietnam and reporting to the FP&A Manager, this position works closely with global teams, including those in San Francisco and Tampa. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, experience with business analytics, and the ability to manage large datasets within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

What You Will Be Doing

• Design and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards to visualize key financial and operational metrics. 
• Build automated reporting tools and financial models in Power BI and Excel to support strategic analysis. 
• Identify opportunities to optimize FP&A processes through data automation and scalable analytics solutions. 
• Translate large and complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that support financial and business strategy. 
• Collaborate with teams across Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Operations to deliver a holistic performance view. 
• Develop and monitor KPIs that align with business priorities and financial objectives. 
• Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reviews by delivering accurate, data-driven insights to stakeholders

What We Need from You 

• At least 5 years of working experience 
• 3–7 years of hands-on experience with BI and analytics tools, especially Power BI (plus SQL, Python, and Excel). 
• Experience in a dynamic, data-driven environment
• Proven ability to build models and insightful dashboards using Power BI and Excel. 
• Strong analytical mindset—skilled at transforming complex datasets into clear, business-ready insights.
• Strong English proficiency

It Would Be Nice if You Had

• Experience in FP&A or financial analytics. 
• Experience using CRM platforms (preferably Salesforce). 
• Previous experience as an Analyst supporting Revenue Operations or FP&A. 
• Advanced MS Excel abilities, including financial modeling and automation. 
• Experience in Salesforce (SFDC) Reporting and Dashboards. 
• Strong MS PowerPoint skills to visualize financial insights with charts and graphs.
