Overview of job

• Deploy, operate, and maintain core IT infrastructure supporting banking services, including physical/virtual servers (VM), SAN storage systems, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and VMware vSphere environments (ESXi, vCenter).
• Ensure system stability, performance, and security for business-critical services with 24/7 availability requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents related to Linux operating systems, virtualization platforms, and related infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash or Python to streamline operational tasks and improve efficiency.
• Implement and manage Red Hat technologies such as Ansible, OpenShift, and others to support IT operations automation and scalability.
• Design infrastructure solutions for banking applications in compliance with internal IT standards, audit requirements, and regulatory policies.
• Collaborate with application, network, and security teams to deliver robust, compliant, and secure infrastructure.
• Monitor system health, follow change control processes, and provide regular technical documentation, reports, and updates to management.
• Support disaster recovery (DR) planning, testing, and execution, ensuring data protection and service continuity.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Electronics & Telecommunications.
• At least 5 years of experience in system engineering roles such as System Administrator, Server Administrator, or similar.
• Strong hands-on experience with physical server management, SAN storage, database setup & backup, and VMware virtualization.
• Deep understanding and proven experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems and Linux-based server operations.
• Proficient in scripting (Bash, Python) for automation and system administration tasks.
• Good English communication skills with the ability to work with international vendors and partners.
