We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Lead QC Engineer with 4–6 years of experience to take ownership of quality assurance across our products. In this role, you will lead the test strategy, planning, and execution, ensuring our software meets the highest standards of reliability, performance, and user experience. You will also mentor junior team members, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and continuously improve our QA processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute test strategy, planning, and execution across functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.
• Design, review, and maintain manual test cases, ensuring full coverage of business and technical requirements.
• Perform manual and exploratory testing to uncover defects and edge cases not captured by test scripts.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and quality standards.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing timely feedback.
• Analyze test results, track defects, and proactively communicate quality risks and mitigation plans.
• Drive and promote best practices in testing, ensuring alignment with Agile/Scrum development cycles.
• Mentor and guide junior QC engineers, fostering a quality-first mindset across the team.
• Research and recommend new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to improve QA efficiency and effectiveness.
• (Optional/Plus) Contribute to building automation test frameworks for web, mobile, or backend services.
• (Optional/Plus) Support continuous testing practices and CI/CD integration of automated tests.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control, with proven leadership in testing activities.
• Strong expertise in manual testing, test design, and defect management.
• Solid understanding of API testing and experience working with databases (SQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with testing tools (e.g., Postman) and test management/bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to mentor, influence, and align cross-functional teams around quality goals.
• Automation testing experience (Java, JavaScript, Python) or knowledge of automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, etc.) is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) is a plus.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent is an advantage.
