ABOUT THE TEAM:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Quality Control (QC) Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our solutions, with the primary focus on test automation (70%) to drive efficiency, consistency, and scalability in testing. You will also contribute to manual testing (30%) for System, Integration, Performance, Load, Smoke, and Regression tests, and specialized cases where automation is not applicable. Working in an international environment, you will collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and customers to deliver high-quality products built with NodeJS/React, ASP.NET, and Windows Forms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Automation Testing (70%):
  • Automate select manual test cases using tools like Telerik Test Studio, Playwright, or similar to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Maintain and execute automated test scripts and environments.
  • Integrate automated tests into existing workflows, with support for CI/CD pipelines as needed.
  • Participate in Scrum processes (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups) to align testing with project goals.
  • Summarize and report test results to team leaders and management.
• Manual Testing (30%):
  • Design, execute, and document comprehensive manual test cases based on system specifications, user stories, and requirements.
  • Perform various types of testing, including System, Integration, Performance, Load, Smoke, and Regression tests.
  • Identify, document, and track defects to resolution using tools like Azure DevOps.
  • Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues, ensuring product quality.
  • Create detailed test plans, test designs, and test result reports for stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of professional experience as a QA/QC Engineer, with strong expertise in manual testing of Windows and Web applications.
• Practical experience in test automation using tools like Telerik Test Studio, Playwright, or equivalent (basic to intermediate proficiency acceptable).
• Proficiency with bug tracking and test case management tools, preferably Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server; MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle a plus).
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
• Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects.
• Detail-oriented, self-disciplined, and proactive approach to work.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

PREFERRED SKILLS (PLUS):

• Experience with basic automation scripting (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure Pipelines, Jenkins).
• Knowledge of industrial production or traceability systems (e.g., labelling, marking processes).
• Previous experience in European or multicultural work environments.
• Scrum or Agile certification, or ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
