Aviron is a Canadian-based fitness technology company pioneering the integration of gamification into connected fitness equipment such as rowing machines, bikes, treadmills, and more. Aviron's products are not just workout machines, but interactive gaming platforms that create an immersive and engaging fitness experience. We are currently expanding our development of custom game titles for Aviron’s built-in screen, building a unique ecosystem that combines fitness and entertainment like never before.
As a Game QC, you will be a key part of the QA team, directly involved in the testing and validation of interactive games developed for Aviron’s fitness devices. You will work closely with the development team to ensure features are functional, intuitive, and aligned with user experience expectations.
Job Description
- Analyze and understand game design documents and technical requirements.
- Design, execute, and maintain test cases (functional, UI, usability, performance...).
- Test gameplay directly on physical devices such as rowing machines, bikes, treadmills, etc.
- Review UI/UX, 2D/3D assets, and in-game logic for correctness and quality.
- Collaborate closely with Game Designers, Developers, and Artists to identify and address issues.
- Log and report bugs in a clear, structured manner, and verify fixes.
- Simulate end-user behavior to uncover potential edge-case issues.
- Participate in continuous process improvement and suggest quality enhancements.
- Understanding the different genres of games.
- Flexible working time: From 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday-Friday.

Job Requirement
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in game or interactive software testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Solid understanding of game genres, gameplay mechanics, and player behavior.
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
- Proficient in writing and executing test cases.
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience with API testing, basic SQL knowledge is a plus.
- Experience testing on console or specialized hardware is a strong advantage.
- Good English communication skills (especially in reading and reporting).
