Overview of job

We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team in Vietnam, collaborating with teams in Vietnam and Canada. You will play a pivotal role in managing cloud infrastructure, automating deployment processes, collaborating with Network Admins to optimize network and security configurations, and ensuring reliable, secure software delivery.

Job Description

Cloud Infrastructure Management:

• Deploy and manage upgrades/fixes on AWS (EC2, S3, EBS, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, CloudWatch).
• Optimize computing architecture for performance and scalability.

    Automation & Deployment Optimization: 

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and automation tools to streamline development and deployment workflows. 
• Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with development teams to enhance code deployment and ensure application reliability. 
• Develop and deploy software integrations based on user feedback and business requirements.

Software Integration:

• Develop and deploy software integrations based on user feedback and business requirements.

Network & Security Collaboration: 

• Work closely with Network Admins to implement and monitor network configurations, security policies, and compliance requirements. 
• Ensure data security and adherence to best practices in cloud environments. 

Documentation & Reporting:

• Create and maintain comprehensive design and troubleshooting documentation.
• Communicate and report directly to leaders in Vietnam and Canada via chat, email, and documentation.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Strong expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, EBS, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, CloudWatch).
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for containerized environments.
• Experience with network, server, and application state monitoring.
• Strong programming skills in C#, C++, or .NET.
• Solid database management skills with SQL.
• Good at English.
• Proficient in managing and maintaining private cloud environments, particularly VMware and Microsoft Azure.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including routers, firewalls, and switches

Nice to Have

• Experience with OKR, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with source control tools (Git, SVN).
• Knowledge of additional DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform).
